¡ Pack a Baby Pack! Saturday 2 P.M. Finally this coming Saturday is the Pack a Baby Pack! We have been waiting for it for such a long time, announcing each week. Now we are going to pack the baby packs for expecting mothers in Malawi (for your information, Malawi is a country in South-eastern Africa). These packs contain essential hygienic supplies, which are crucial for clean and healthy baby deliveries. Unfortunately, due to the lack of these items, many newborn babies and mothers face serious risks. By this, we can save lots of new born babies and their mothers. It is this coming Saturday, 2 P.M. at the fellowship hall. N o Bible Study To remove the possible conflicts with the wonderful mission project of Pack a Baby Pack, this coming Bible Study is cancelled. We will resume the Saturday Bible Study from Saturday, May 4 th , 11:30 A.M. New Bible Study Book The Saturday Bible Study finished studying the Gospel of Luke. OT Lesson: Genesis 2:4b-9 (GNT) When the Lord God made the universe, there were no plants on the earth and no seeds had sprouted, because He had not sent any rain, and there was no one to cultivate the land; but water would come up from beneath the surface and water the ground. Then the Lord God took some soil from the ground and formed a man out of it; He breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live. Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the East, and there He put the man He had formed. He made all kinds of beautiful trees grow there and produce good fruit. In the middle of the garden stood the tree that gives life and the tree that gives knowledge of what is good and what is bad. NT Lesson: Matthew 13:1-9 (NRSV) That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the lake. Such great crowds gathered around Him that He got into a boat and sat there, while the whole crowd stood on the beach. And He told them many things in parables, sayi

OT Lesson: Genesis 1:14-19 (CEB) God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will mark events, sacred seasons, days, and years. They will be lights in the dome of the sky to shine on the earth.” And that’s what happened. God made the stars and two great lights: the larger light to rule over the day and the smaller light to rule over the night. God put them in the dome of the sky to shine on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. God saw how good it was. There was evening and there was morning: the fourth day. NT Lesson: Matthew 12:38-42 (NRSV) Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, ‘Teacher, we wish to see a sign from You.’ But He answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For just as Jonah was for three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so for

Chairs to Malawi After Margi McConnaha finished the renovation of the church library (through all the hassles and head-aches with Ashley Furniture), the old chairs which were in the library and in the basement were donated on Saturday, March 2nd to the Malawi project to be shipped in a container box along with other donations. Two of the chairs were donated previously to the Home Instead in Lebanon. Lenten Community Meal On Wednesday, March 6th, we hosted the Lenten Wednesday Community Soup & Supper. It was good to see that the Christians in the community came together to eat together and to worship together. Thanks to Dennis and Teresa Brannon for overseeing and doing a lot of things, and thanks to all wonderful Presbyterians who brought soups and other foods. Blessings to Gretel It is with a mix of joy and sadness that we announce the resignation of our much-loved church secretary, Gretel Magnuson. Gretel has been a beacon of warmth, efficiency, and unwavering support in our chur

OT Lesson: Isaiah 25:6-9 (CEB) On this mountain, the Lord of heavenly forces will prepare for all peoples a rich feast, a feast of choice wines, of select foods rich in flavour, of choice wines well refined. He will swallow up on this mountain the veil that is veiling all peoples, the shroud enshrouding all nations. He will swallow up death forever. The Lord God will wipe tears from every face; He will remove His people’s disgrace from off the whole earth, for the Lord has spoken. They will say on that day, “Look! This is our God, for whom we have waited— and He has saved us! This is the Lord, for whom we have waited; let’s be glad and rejoice in His salvation!” NT Lesson: Mark 16:1-8 (NRSV) When the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint Him. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. They had been saying to one another,  ‘Who
