OT Lesson: Isaiah 25:6-9 (CEB) On this mountain, the Lord of heavenly forces will prepare for all peoples a rich feast, a feast of choice wines, of select foods rich in flavour, of choice wines well refined. He will swallow up on this mountain the veil that is veiling all peoples, the shroud enshrouding all nations. He will swallow up death forever. The Lord God will wipe tears from every face; He will remove His people’s disgrace from off the whole earth, for the Lord has spoken. They will say on that day, “Look! This is our God, for whom we have waited— and He has saved us! This is the Lord, for whom we have waited; let’s be glad and rejoice in His salvation!” NT Lesson: Mark 16:1-8 (NRSV) When the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint Him. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. They had been saying to one another,  ...

OT Lesson: Zechariah 9:9-10 (NLT) Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, Yet He is humble, riding on a donkey— riding on a donkey’s colt. I will remove the battle chariots from Israel and the warhorses from Jerusalem. I will destroy all the weapons used in battle, and your king will bring peace to the nations. His realm will stretch from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth. NT Lesson: John 12:12-16 (NRSV) The next day the great crowd that had come to the festival heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting, ‘Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord— the King of Israel!’ Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it; as it is written: ‘Do not be afraid, daughter of Zion. Look, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt!’ His disciples did not un...

OT Lesson: Jeremiah 31:31-34 (CEB) The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. It won’t be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant with Me even though I was their husband, declares the Lord. No, this is the covenant that I will make with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My Instructions within them and engrave them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people. They will no longer need to teach each other to say, “Know the Lord!” because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord; for I will forgive their wrongdoing and never again remember their sins. NT Lesson: Hebrews 5:5-10 (GNT) In the same way, Christ did not take upon Himself the honour of being a high priest. Instead, God said to Him, “You are My Son; today I have becom...
