PPM: Class Resumes
on July 11th. Their break will come to a close this week, but renovations have been ongoing in their absence. Skilled workers are adding needed updates and beautifications to the building. We appreciate your patience and their hard work during this time.

Our Lantern
: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
Fog obscures the path, hides the day,
Confuses the senses . . . Where is the way?
The lamp shines bright and I can see,
Thy Word is a lamp to me.

Dark night falls and repeats a refrain
Of building despair . . . Can hope remain?
The lamp shines bright and I can see,
Thy Word is a lamp to me.

Twisting, turning, up and down,
The trail through the wilderness winds around;
Mountain high or valley low, how will I know where to go?
The lamp shines bright and I can see,
Thy Word is a lamp to me.

Through dense fog or dark of night
May it shine long and shine bright.
From mountain high or valley low,
May it show us where we are to go,
Fill us with hope when hope seems dim,
Point us towards the source of life within.
May the lantern of the Lord our God light our way,
Today and always.
Amen.

Heavenly Father, We thank You for Your presence in our lives, Your attentive ear to our prayers, and the provision You provide. We praise You for Your sovereignty, Your Power, and Your holiness. We worship You in the light of Your grace and Your eternal love. We bring to You both heavy hearts of grief and hearts filled with joy and mirth. We lift to You our concerns and trust You to do what is best in each and every circumstance.

(Following portion is from Hymn #469 in Glory to God Presbyterian Hymnal.)
Lord, listen to Your children praying.
Lord, send your Spirit in this place.
Lord, listen to your children praying.
Send us love;
Send us power;
Send us grace.

In Jesus’s precious name we pray, Amen.
