This Sunday is for the Graduates!

This coming Sunday, we will honour our graduates (class of 2024) during the worship service. Please come and celebrate together for their accomplishment and let us bless them in the name of our Saviour for their new beginning.

Lesley Klooz

We now have a new Administrative Assistant in the church office, who will be the central contact point for the church. Her name is Lesley Klooz, for more information about her and the photo, please wait for the July Newsletter. Lesley will be in the office Monday through Friday, 8 AM—4 PM. You may come and say hello to her. Please welcome her to our church.

June Gourmet Seekers

Our monthly Gourmet Seekers will meet this coming Friday. The venue this month is Luciana’s Mexican Restaurant (5910 W 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46278). For rideshare, we will meet at the church lobby at 11:30 AM. You may drive directly to the restaurant to meet us there at noon. Please inform the church office or pastor Je if you are coming, so that we can have the number.

June Worship Team Meeting

The worship team meeting for June will be this coming Friday, June 28th, 4PM at the church library. Members are encouraged to come to the meeting to discuss worship, to present ideas and concerns about our worship.

Want to Add Music to the Service?

Summertime and the livin’ is easy… and music is needed! If you have ever wanted to play an instrument or sing (solo or as a group), now is your chance. The congregation is always appreciative of music so do not be afraid to add to worship with your song! Also, if you have a favourite hymn (even if it is not in our hymnal), please email or let Lisa Hutcheson know and if it is covered under our music license, and fits into the service, she will do her best to include them. Let us all make a joyful noise to Lord!

Saturday Bible Study

We are discussing the book of Hebrews at the Saturday Bible Study. Pack your lunch and come to the church library by 11:30 AM. Due to pastor Je’s vacation, there will be no Saturday Bible Study in July.

Communion Server Sign-up

The Communion is one of the two Sacraments in the Reformed Church and it signifies the union and unity with Jesus Christ our Saviour. We repeatedly remind ourselves of this truth, so we have monthly Communion on the first Sunday of the month. To serve the Communion, we need pastor Je and four elders. If you are an ordained elder and willing to serve, please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the hallway across the church office. Our next Communion will be Sunday, August 4th.

Voice Actor Needed

Don’t you love hearing the dramatized Scripture Readings during the Sunday Worship Services? You can join the bliss of being part of it. If you are willing, let Neal know before the Worship Service on each Sunday.

PPM News!

We have been having so much fun this summer! Currently, we have 70 children enrolled and 10 staff members working. This month we have been learning about different Habitats. Traveling through the Ocean, the Rainforest, the Desert and this week the Arctic. The classes have been making playdough with sand, sand foam, painting with ice cubes, playing in fake snow and having fun learning about all the different animals that live in these habitats.

Every week we have been enjoying water play and the older classes walk to the library for storytime. PPM will take a break next week and resume classes July 8th. When we return, the classes will explore Outer Space and Dinosaurs.

Pastor Je’s Vacation

Pastor Je will be on vacation from Monday, July 1st through Monday 29th. He is visiting his mother in Korea with his son. While pastor Je is away, our much beloved pastor, Rev. Alan Griffin, agreed to be the pastoral emergency contact. We pray that there will be no need to contact him except greetings.
