Peace & Global Witness Offering

We will begin to collect the PCUSA special offering of Peace & Global Witness from this coming Sunday through Sunday, October 6.

Lord’s Prayer in Languages

We need volunteers to read the Lord's Prayer in different languages on World Communion Sunday (Oct 6). If you would like to volunteer, please contact the church office.

Love INC Banquet

The Annual Fundraising Banquet will be held at the Zionsville Fellowship Church on September 5th at 5:30pm. Seats or tables can be reserved by visiting www.loveincbc.org. The cost is $40 per person or $300 per table.

Short Term Choir

With Advent coming, as well as a fun celebration of Bud Hunter in November, we're compiling a short term choir!

 

We'll sing 3-4 times during Advent, (12/1-12/24) and on Sat. 11/19. 

 

ISSUE:  In sincere honesty,  in the past, we would rehearse but couldn't always perform partly because we didn't have total commitment from EVERY singer. So, if you'd like to join us, rehearsals for everyone are a must, and rehearsing to the provided track on your own is also required, otherwise we disappoint everyone. I think we can all agree we are a very talented bunch, but aging and a bit rusty, so we need the rehearsals more than we did even 3 years ago. 

 

I'll be our rehearsal pianist, Lisa will be our performance pianist (I hear the collective sigh). I'm so excited to offer us this opportunity to sing again so I hope you'll consider joining us if you are able to commit to it.

 

PLEASE let me know asap if you'd prefer:

Thursday nights at 7pm, or

Sunday mornings at 9:15am. 

 

We may do a bit of both.

Saturday Bible Study

Want to Add Music to the Service?

Summertime and the livin’ is easy… and music is needed! If you have ever wanted to play an instrument or sing (solo or as a group), now is your chance. The congregation is always appreciative of music so do not be afraid to add to worship with your song! Also, if you have a favorite hymn (even if it is not in our hymnal), please email Lisa Hutcheson (or see her at church) and if it is covered under our music license, and fits into the service, she will do her best to include them. Let us all make a joyful noise to the Lord!

Communion Server Sign-up

The Communion is one of the two Sacraments in the Reformed Church, and it signifies the union and unity with Jesus Christ our Saviour. We repeatedly remind ourselves of this truth, so we have monthly Communion on the first Sunday of the month. To serve the Communion, we need pastor Je and four elders. If you are an ordained elder and willing to serve, please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the hallway across from the church office. There is still one server needed in October and two in November.

Voice Actor Needed

Don’t you love hearing the dramatized Scripture Readings during the Sunday Worship Services? You can join the bliss of being part of it. If you are willing, let Neal know before the Worship Service on each Sunday. Coming Sunday’s OT reading is from Daniel, we need 4 voice actors volunteers.
