DST Begins

Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 9th. Please turn your clocks one hour forward on Saturday before you go to bed. Smart devices such as smartphones or tablets do not need to be adjusted, but we have hundreds of other clocks to work on from car clocks to oven clocks.

Called Congregational Meeting

A brief Congregational meeting will be held this Sunday, to elect an Elder. This will take place during service, following the announcements.

Lenten Soup Supper & Service

Many churches in Lebanon have been coming together for fellowship and spirituality during Lenten Wednesdays in the past years. This year is no different! Lenten Soup Supper will start Wednesday, March 12th and end on April 9th. The suppers will start at 6pm, followed by a worship or prayer service in the respective traditions at 7pm. The schedule and locations for the suppers is listed below:

          March 12th- St. Joseph Catholic Church

          March 19th- Trinity Lutheran Church

          March 26th- First Presbyterian Church

          April    2nd- TBD

          April    9th-  TBD

We need volunteers to bring soups to serve on Wednesday, March 26th when we host it. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the church office. If you have an extension cord, please bring it so we can make sure all of the soups can stay warm. Please contact Nancy Kincaid with any questions you may have.

Hello from PPM!

PPM is celebrating Dr. Seuss. We are reading fun books and having special dress up days!  Some of our fun dress up days have been hat day, pj day, and wacky Wednesday.  The children have had a lot of fun dressing up, reading books, and doing fun activities.  

We would like to welcome Haidyn Nichole to our PPM family! She was born February 28th.  Haidyn weighed 5 lb. 14oz and 19 inches long.  Congratulations to Miss Ashton and her family!

The classes have been able to enjoy going outside to the playground and taking walks for the last couple of days.  We are looking forward to Spring coming and warmer weather!

Malawi Baby Pack Project

We are collecting for the Malawi baby packs until April 20. There is a sign-up sheet on the table behind the sanctuary with the items we need to fill the packs. Please sign up to donate something, On Saturday April 26 we will stuff the baby packs and have refreshments. Saturday Bible Study

We will meet on Saturday, March 8th at 11:30am. We are currently studying the Book of Genesis, focusing on the ancient Middle Eastern and Hebrew cultures that shape its narrative. Coffee and tea will be provided but you need to bring your own lunch

Gathering at the Well of Grace (Sunday, March 19th, 2017)

Terri Thorn During this Lenten season, we have committed ourselves to telling the stories of scripture in a number of different ways including telling them by heart, using dramatic readings, incorporating visual arts, and singing them in song.  After all, we can never hear the stories of Jesus' life too often; and the stories...in and of themselves...are enough.  They are all we need, in order to be the church.   This week's story, is...shall we say...almost, more than enough?  There is so much in this story that it is a challenge to know where to begin.  For one thing, it's really long...just ask Ben and Bailie...they will tell you...37 verses long!  It also covers so much theological ground that we could probably come up with a month's worth of sermons on it.  However, I promise to not try to preach them all in one Sunday!  Instead, for today, let's just focus is on the what happens at the well - th...
