Birthday Celebration for Leanna Woody

Leanna’s daughter has invited us to help celebrate her 92nd birthday! Homewood Healthcare has graciously opened the Activities Center for the event. Please stop by between 2pm and 4pm to wish her a happy birthday.

A few things to be aware of before you visit, Leanna has experienced a series of strokes, so at this time she has limited communication skills but would appreciate seeing familiar faces. She has requested no gifts or even cards, just a few minutes of your time to acknowledge this milestone with fellow church members and friends. If you would like to visit her and need a ride, please let pastor Je know.

Congregational Meeting

A brief Congregational meeting will be held on March 9th to elect an Elder. This will take place during service, following the Announcements.

PPM News

Just a few updates from PPM staff and the exciting things that are happening here!

Miss Ashton will begin her maternity leave on February 26th and will be induced February 27th. Baby Haidyn will be about 3 ½ weeks early. Please keep Ashton and William in your prayers, as I know there is a lot of anxiety and worry. Baby Haidyn will be loved by big sister Kaydence.

Miss Mea (our beloved music teacher) is due early March. Mea and her husband Braydon are expecting a baby boy in early March. This little one will be joining big brother Elliot and big sister Ava.

Miss Emileigh will start her maternity leave on March 20th and is due at the end of April. Her little guy is doing well but there is concern with the development of his left kidney.

We have another exciting announcement, Miss Ashley and her husband Chad will be welcoming a new little one this fall joining big sisters Payton and Parker; and Miss Nakia and her husband Jeff have also announced they are expecting a new addition later this year. This little one will join big sisters Emerlyn and Kynzlee.

We are very excited for the arrivals of these new babies and prayers for the families. As our Staff continues to grow and change, please continue to pray for all of our staff as we adjust to the changes too.

Saturday Bible Study

We will meet on Saturday, February 22nd at 11:30am. We are currently studying the Book of Genesis, focusing on the ancient Middle Eastern and Hebrew cultures that shape its narrative. Coffee and tea will be provided but you need to bring your own lunch

Gourmet Seekers

The Gourmet Seekers will meet Friday, February 28th at The Vintage Café in Frankfort (12 Mckinley Ave Frankfort, IN 46041) at 11:30 AM at the restaurant. The earlier time is due to the café only being open until 2pm. For rideshare, please be at the church by 11 AM. Please call or email the church office by Thursday, February 27th if you would like to attend.

Shoe Collection

13th Annual Reuse Heart and Sole Shoe Collection has been extended through Tuesday, February 25th. A collection bag/bin is in the foyer of the church. All types of shoes will be collected and sorted by non-profit Changing Footprints. Pairs in reusable condition will be redistributed to those in need and tennis shoes that are unusable will be recycled with Nike’s ReGrind Program. Please help the collection of shoes by:

Communion Server Sign-up

Do you want to serve the Communion by distributing the elements during the regular Communion on the first Sunday of each month? Please sign up on the bulletin board outside the church office or contact pastor Je. By the session’s approval, you don’t have to be an ordained elder to serve the Communion. April and May still need volunteers.

·        Ralph Willard

Wanna Be on the Visit Team?

If you want to help pastor Je visit our home-bound members, please sign up on the bulletin board outside the church office. February still has some open spots if you would like to volunteer.

Prayer Request?

If you have a prayer request, please contact Phyllis Duff at raduff2@att.net.

Got News?

Do you have something you wish to share with the church family? Sharing good news will double it. Sharing sad news will halve it. Is your child or grandchild excellent? You can boast about them. Contact the church office if you want your story in the weekly Midweek or monthly Newsletter.
