Ice Cream Social

August 10th after service we will gather in the courtyard. In the event of rain the fellowship hall will be used. Ham sandwiches and ice cream will be served. If you would like to bring a plate of cookies to share, that would be appreciated!

Texas Flooding

From July 4th to fifth, heavy rainfall resulted in catastrophic flash flooding in the Hill Country area in central Texas. Concerns remain for additional heavy rains and flooding from Hill Country to north Texas.
The sudden floods resulted in more than one hundred lives lost and search and rescue is ongoing. 
PDA is in communication with the Synod of the Sun Presbyterian Disaster Network and Mission Presbytery to coordinate a response and assess the needs, including Emotional and Spiritual Care. If you would like to contribute to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance- U.S. Flooding offering, please note on the memo line of your check or offering envelope PCUSA-U.S. Flooding. Please keep those affected by this disaster in your prayers.

Do you want to serve Communion by distributing the elements during regular Communion on the first Sunday of each month? By the session’s approval, you don’t have to be an ordained elder to serve Communion. September and October still need volunteers, please sign up on the bulletin board outside the church office.

    Christ Is Risen Indeed! On Easter Sunday, April 20 th , we joyfully concluded our long Lenten journey that began on Ash Wednesday. The final stretch of that journey was marked by Palm Sunday, April 13 th , ushering us into Holy Week—a week-long culmination of reflection, devotion, and remembrance of Christ’s Passion. Our Easter morning worship was filled with beauty and praise! The sanctuary resounded with lovely singing voices, a wonderful Bell Choir, and the inspiring sounds of Lisa ’s piano and Bud ’s organ. It was a glorious celebration of the Resurrection, reminding us once again that Christ is risen indeed!
