Marty Willard’s Celebration of Life

On Saturday, September 6th at 2pm in the church sanctuary, we will celebrate the wonderful life of Marty Willard. Please join the family for a reception in the Fellowship Hall following the service.

We learned this week that the Larson’s lost their son/stepson, Daniel Ray unexpectedly. They attended FPC and Kathleen played the organ many Sundays before they moved. If you would like to send to a card/condolence, their address is below:

PPM

We have officially been in school for 11 days! Learning all about our new friends, school rules and getting back into a routine.

 

The hallways are filled with laughter, growling ( we love dinosaurs!) and sometimes crying.  For several of our new friends this is the first time ever being away from mom and dad. These little ones are trying to learn to trust new adults and gain confidence in themselves.

 

We are excited to get going after Labor Day with the start of Spanish and Music with Miss Natalie and begin introducing more of the curriculum.

 

We are so very blessed , and excited for what the year brings to PPM.

IUMCH Celebration Breakfast

Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home is hosting a celebration with breakfast on Saturday, September 27th, 9am. If you’d like to attend, please let Nancy Turner know so that we can RSVP to them.

Organ Concert

First Presbyterian Church will have an Organ Concert to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the installation of the church’s pipe organ. Please join us to enjoy the musical talents of Bud Hunter and others. The concert is Sunday, September 28th beginning at 2:00pm with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. This event is open to the community so please spread the word!

Bible Study

Come to our Saturday Bible Study on Genesis, even if you are a first timer or just as a one-time visit.

Saturdays at 11:30 until around 1:30 or so. Bring your own lunch as the first hour is eating and fellowship, then on to the Bible Study.

    Christ Is Risen Indeed! On Easter Sunday, April 20 th , we joyfully concluded our long Lenten journey that began on Ash Wednesday. The final stretch of that journey was marked by Palm Sunday, April 13 th , ushering us into Holy Week—a week-long culmination of reflection, devotion, and remembrance of Christ’s Passion. Our Easter morning worship was filled with beauty and praise! The sanctuary resounded with lovely singing voices, a wonderful Bell Choir, and the inspiring sounds of Lisa ’s piano and Bud ’s organ.
