Peace and Global Witness

Peace & Global Witness is one of the four special offerings of PCUSA, focusing on peace making and reconciliation, locally, nationally, and globally. Quarter of this offering remains at our congregation to support peacemaking efforts in our local communities. Another quarter goes to the mid councils (Presbytery and Synod) for the peace-making works in the wider region. Half of this offering goes to the Office of General Assembly for the reconciliation and peacemaking nationally and globally. To contribute, you may mark your offering cheque or envelope "PCUSA," "Peace," or "Witness."

These Days

The booklets of These Days, the daily devotional by PCUSA are ready to pick up in the sanctuary. This new issue is October through December.

Please join us to enjoy the musical talents of Bud Hunter and others. The concert is Sunday, September 28th beginning at 2:00pm with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. This event is open to the community so please spread the word!

PPM News

PPM is fully in the swing of the new year. This past week we have welcomed 3 new families and one new staff member and her daughter. Our classes are bursting with excitement to say the least. Today we had our first fire drill of the year, this always brings a lot of anxiety and fear to the kids. The loud noise of the alarm, the fear of a real fire. I would like to say that during these times is when I notice how truly amazing our staff is with these kids. The calming voices and reassurance everything will be ok. Today as we began this process that will occur once a month, I am also amazed by the kids after these fire drills showing how proud and brave, they were... until next time.

Please continue to pray for our staff, children and families. We appreciate everything the church does to support us.

Blessings, Lori

Sharing Your Musical Talents During Advent

If anyone is interested in sharing their musical talents on Sundays to please email Lisa or see her at church.  This can be vocal or instrumental, individuals or groups, and music for the prelude, postlude, or special music during the service for the glory of God. You don't have to be Liberace or Pavarotti, just someone who is willing to praise God through music!

Bible Study

Come to our Saturday Bible Study on Genesis, even if you are a first timer or just as a one-time visit.

Watch this video for a dramatization of what we have covered the past couple of months: https://youtu.be/YS8RtpT3ms0
