PPM

The leaves are falling down! We are learning all about this beautiful season full of colors and fun celebrations. 

Congratulations to Miss Nakia (former PPM teachers) and her husband Jeff along with big sisters Emerlyn and Kynzlee welcomed Lorelai Noelle Dixon into the world October 6th. We are so excited for all of them. 

We hosted our first family event last weekend. About 45 families came out for pizza, and fun pumpkin themed activities. What a great night we had. A special thanks to Miss Tammy from the Lebanon Library who came over and hosted story time in the sanctuary for the kids. This week we have 3 classes walking to Becky's Market. They will learn what she does there and see many types of pumpkins. PPM and our community are so fortunate to have both of these people teaching us and being a true Community Helper. 

PPM has also welcomed back all of our readers, this year we have Miss Margi McConneha, Mr. Ralph Woodard, Miss Sally Owens, and Brady from Boone County Waste Management. If you have extra time and would like to come and read to a class or do a special activity please let me know.

Sharing Your Musical Talents During Advent

If anyone is interested in sharing their musical talents on Sundays please email Lisa or see her at church.  This can be vocal or instrumental, individuals or groups, and music for the prelude, postlude, or special music during the service for the glory of God. You don't have to be Liberace or Pavarotti, just someone who is willing to praise God through music!

Communion Server Sign-up

Do you want to serve Communion by distributing the elements during regular Communion on the first Sunday of each month? By the session’s approval, you don’t have to be an ordained elder to serve Communion. November and December still need volunteers, please sign up on the bulletin board outside the church office or let Pastor Je know.

    Christ Is Risen Indeed! On Easter Sunday, April 20 th , we joyfully concluded our long Lenten journey that began on Ash Wednesday. The final stretch of that journey was marked by Palm Sunday, April 13 th , ushering us into Holy Week—a week-long culmination of reflection, devotion, and remembrance of Christ’s Passion.
