Thank You

Lisa would like to thank the following people for helping decorate and make the church so beautiful this season: Janet and Bruce McConnell, Margi McConnaha, George, Leanne, Ben, and Sam Piper, Jennie Woods, Nancy Turner and her granddaughter Holly, and Amy Morrison.

Myrtle Bailey Toy Collection

Thank you everyone for your generosity with toy donations for the Myrtle Bailey Toy Drive, the toy box overflowed 2 times!  We have stopped accepting toys at this time, but if anyone still has toys to donate the collection address is 614 E. Elm St, there are tubs on the porch to put toys in making it very easy.  It's heartwarming to know that FPC and PPM collected these donations for the children in Boone Co. this Christmas.

Stuffed Toy Collection

Ava's toy drive has also completed, thank you also for so many stuffed animals, now Ava is wrapping all those toys you donated and preparing to deliver them! Thanks to all!

PPM

Season's Greetings! We are down to the last 4 days of school for this semester here at PPM. The classes are bustling with excitement and anticipation for Christmas. This past Wednesday we had a Family Grinchmas Night. The kids had fun playing Christmas themed games, eating pizza and decorating cookies. We had about 160 people in attendance for this fun night.

The songs have been sung, the stories read, the parents gifts wrapped, and the fun activities are done. We will finish out the week with chapel on Wednesday to once again, tell the story of Jesus and sing Happy Birthday to the King. What would be left to check off the list at PPM for the month ... A visit from Santa himself on Friday.

Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas,

Lori Rowe

Advent Prayer Calendar

We have 25 days in Advent this year. The Worship team and pastor Je made a daily Advent prayer featuring two states each day, so that we can pray for all fifty states during Advent, and on Christmas Day, we will pray for our nation as a whole. This Advent Prayer Calendar will be emailed to you in a separate email. Or if you prefer a paper copy, you can pick it up at the back of the sanctuary.

Advent Devotionals

PCUSA's Advent devotional "Draw Near" will be emailed weekly on Saturdays during Advent. If you prefer a paper copy, you can pick it up at the back of the sanctuary.

Pastor Je' voice daily devotional (reading from 'These Days') will be emailed daily in the morning during Advent.

Sharing Your Musical Talents

If anyone is interested in sharing their musical talents on Sundays please email Lisa or see her at church.  This can be vocal or instrumental, individuals or groups, and music for the prelude, postlude, or special music during the service for the glory of God. You don't have to be Liberace or Pavarotti, just someone who is willing to praise God through music!

January and February still need volunteers, please sign up on the bulletin board outside the church office or let Pastor Je know.

Prayer Request?

If you have a prayer request, please contact Phyllis Duff at raduff2@att.net.

Got News?

Do you have something you wish to share with the church family? Sharing good news will double it. Sharing sad news will halve it. Is your child or grandchild excellent? You can boast about them. Contact the church office if you want your story in the weekly Midweek or monthly Newsletter.
